On the other side of the coin however you can also find many stories (a ton) of people who have not succeeded in making this business work for them, in fact the failure rate is suggested to be an alarming 97%. Why is this so? It's often believed that a major contributor to the problem is simply the lack of training that's given to distributors when they join the business. Most new distributors starting with a new company will be instructed to follow up with friends and family first and convince them to join up with the business, the idea is then to move further afield and approach people in your 'circle of contacts', this will often contain people that you are only barely acquainted with.
One can see the sense in this idea but what happens if no one joins up or buys product (which is quite likely to happen), who can you prospect next. Most of the people in your warm market will probably NOT be interested in your deal, and if they are, they may not become an mlm 'superstar', which is what you need in your business.
The problem we have discussed so far is very common in the industry and the biggest stumbling block for most, it certainly was for me 12 months ago. Whilst looking for a solution online, I actually came across a YouTube video telling me how I could use something called attraction marketing to grow my business and solve my problems. Although I was sceptical as you might expect, using these principles has actually completely revolutionised my business. It's an exciting game, when you actually get prospects calling you wanting to join your business! Which happens to me on a regular basis.
With the right
network marketing training you can experience such things in your business. The whole point of the attraction marketing business model is to bring prospects to you rather than chasing people around. You position yourself as a leader in the industry which separates you from the rest of the pack, this will work offline, but is most effective and easily implemented using the internet.
Whilst there isn't the scope in this article to go into too much detail, here are the basics. The first thing you must do is to set up a sales funnel (or often called a funded proposal system), this will give you a scientific marketing system to which you will send your leads through. The second all important skill is to drive traffic to your funnel and convert them into leads. This is of fundamental importance and is pretty easy to do really, I generate anywhere from 15 - 30 leads each and every day, without doing anything.
Conversions are the next thing on the menu, this is best achieved through a relationship and rapport building process, which your sales funnel takes care of. Once people like and trust you, they are far more likely to buy from you and in fact you will probably have people calling you, wanting to join your business. Although this may come as a surprise, you can earn money from your prospects even if they don't join your main business.
This is not a difficult process to set up, even though many people get overwhelmed when it comes to such things. Do some research and you will find many attraction marketing systems available to you for a small monthly fee that do everything for you.
